Im looking for a barrel horse.?

Im an advanced beginner and am looking for a faster horse than my 22 year old quarter horses gelding. The price range needs to be 3,000 or less. Please help. im very desperate. the paperwork has to be in by may 17th and i still have not found one. Im on the brink of tears because if we dont find one then i cant do shows. please help.
