Am I too young to date?

Well I am 11. I think on one of my other questions I had a typo and said I was 12 but anyway i am 11. So a TON of people at my school have girlfriends and boyfriends. I didn't think people would start to have b.f.s and g.f.s till middle school or h.s.. Guess not. None of my really good friends have boyfriends, but a bunch of other people do. So as you know in my other questions I like a guy a lot and I think he likes me too. I kinda think that I am to young to have a b.f. but kinda not. I dont know if i am too young. But I guess if the guy I really liked asked me out I would say yes. But i am not really sure. Am I too young or should I go for it?
