Any advice how to get baby to sleep in his crib/cot?

When my daughter was a newborn she could only sleep in a room that was dark with a blanket wrapped tightly around her and soft music playing. She also had to have her paci and a dry diaper and a full tummy. Also, the binet vibrated and she liked that too.
